FOOD DISTRIBUTION:  

 

Every Friday from 11:30 until 16:00. Distribution of non-perishable food to 200 families each week (12 voluntary workers).

TRAINING WORK SHOPS

 

Training work shops.
Timetable: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 10:30 until 12:00. 
Cooking classes, geriatrics, Spanish, English, General culture, hairdressing, baby care, ironing, sewing.
- 8 voluntary workers for 30 people.

“ZACCHAEUS” PROJECT 

      The aim is to create a solidarity network amongst the shopkeepers in the neighbourhood and, in this way, to find jobs for the most needy.

"SIMEON" PROJECT

The “Simeon” Project reaches out to old people who live in solitude. Currently, we make periodic visits to 31 people, but we still aim at finding and accompanying those who pass unnoticed and live abandoned. 
2 voluntary workers attend 4 old people from Monday to Sunday.

“SAINT JOSEPH EATING PLACE” 

Timetable: from Monday to Sunday – a family welfare eating place. It serves for cooking classes and for facilitating healthy food for families. They can either eat in the dining room or take the food home.Monday to Sunday, 60 voluntary workers provide food for 220 people. Distribution of non-perishable food to 200 families each week (12 voluntary workers).

“LAZARUS” PROJECT

The “Lazarus” Project is focussed on accompanying mendicants in the neighbourhood, by providing hot breakfasts, washing clothes, facilitating showers, etcetera. It is a way of approaching the mendicants and trying to integrate them into society gradually.
4 voluntary workers attend to 16 mendicants on Sundays –A family welfare eating place.

USED CLOTHING REFURBISHING AND DISTRIBUTION 
Baby’s and children’s clothing and men’s and women’s clothing in very good condition is refurbished and distributed.
There are 5 voluntary workers in this project who attend 485 people per year.

 

NAZARETH RESIDENCE

Looking after the homeless. Currently there are fifteen people. They are given shelter for several months until they can find a solution to their situation.
